Description
"As part of its Defense Environmental Restoration Program - formely Used Defense Sites (DERP-FUDS) mission, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Kansas City District (CENWK) has completed a site investigation (SI) at the former Schilling Air Force Base (SAFB), located in Salina, Kansas. The SI focused on 25 individual areas, which had been identified as possibly impacted by releases of environmental contaminants. The SI was designed and implemented to attempt to determine the presence or absence of such contaminants"--p. EX-1.
